RN Program
Whether you are new to nursing or are already an LPN, Ambria's RN program can help you achieve your goal of becoming a professional nurse.
Upon successful completion of the AAS program, graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam to become a registered nurse.
Applicants seeking admission into the AAS program are required to meet the following requirements below. Please note, meeting the admission requirements is not a guarantee of admission until applicants receive a formal acceptance letter.
LPN graduates with an active, unencumbered license in the state of IL have the opportunity to receive course credit and/or proficiency credit for prior coursework.

Deadlines & Mandatory Events
In order to start the program in

- Submit all application documents by
December 13, 2019
- Complete FAFSA (Ambria OPE-ID: 041247) by
December 13, 2019

- Background check and drug screening results.
- In order to register for NUR 101, ALL other clinical health requirements must be completed.
- Register for classes no later than 11:59 PM on
December 28, 2019
- Attend New Student Orientation on
January 2, 2020
(9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
All applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment and must have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.

For foreign school graduates only:
High school foreign transcripts must be evaluated by these preferred NACES-member agency.
High school transcripts from foreign institutions must be evaluated for U.S. high school equivalency by a credential evaluation agency that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE).
