RN Program

Whether you are new to nursing or are already an LPN, Ambria's RN program can help you achieve your goal of becoming a professional nurse.

Upon successful completion of the AAS program, graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam to become a registered nurse.

Applicants seeking admission into the AAS program are required to meet the following requirements below. Please note, meeting the admission requirements is not a guarantee of admission until applicants receive a formal acceptance letter.

LPN graduates with an active, unencumbered license in the state of IL have the opportunity to receive course credit and/or proficiency credit for prior coursework.

Deadlines & Mandatory Events

In order to start the program in August, you must:

  • Submit all application documents by August 9, 2019
  • Complete FAFSA (Ambria OPE-ID: 041247) by August 9, 2019
  • Submit Castle Branch results no later than 3:00 PM on August 9, 2019:
    - Background check and drug screening results.
    - In order to register for NUR 101, ALL other clinical health requirements must be completed.
  • Register for classes no later than 11:59 PM on August 12, 2019
  • Attend New Student Orientation on August 29, 2019 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

All applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment and must have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.

Submit a copy of your Driver’s License and Social Security Card

Sign Enrollment Agreement

Attend the Clinical Workshop
