Ambria College of Nursing is approved by the following local, state, and federal agencies:
The U.S Department of Education has revoked ACICS status as an accreditation agency. ACICS accredits thousands of schools in and outside the U.S. All schools accredited by them are given 18 months to seek for a new accreditation. In response, Ambria is pursuing accreditation with ACEN and another agency recognized by the Dept. of Education.
It is important to note that this change in accreditation agencies has no effect on students with regards to receiving federal financial aid.
Ambria College of Nursing does not have an articulation agreement with other institutions. Whether to accept credits earned at Ambria College of Nursing is the decision of the institution where the students wishes to transfer. It is the responsibility of an accepting institution to choose whether or not to accept credits earned at Ambria College of Nursing.
Students should verify whether another institution would accept credits earned at Ambria for transfer. If the accepting institution does not accept Ambria credits for transfer, the accepting institution may require the student to repeat some or all of its coursework.
