I'm a high school applicant
All new applicants wishing to apply for admission into our LPN Program must submit a high school diploma or GED.
Application Process

Info Session.
This session is required for all new applicants considering enrollment in Ambria's LPN program, as well as anyone wishing to receive more information about our school and various programs. It's a one hour session covering topics including admission requirements, pre-requisite, student financial aid, etc.

Application Form.
When you're ready to take the next step after attending the Info Session, fill out an application form available at the front desk, or you can choose to fill out the form online.
Note
there is an application fee of $50.

C.N.A Training.
Completing a nursing assistant training program and passing the state (IDPH) exam to become a certified nursing assistant is one of the requirements for the LPN program (your license has to be current).
You can enroll in the C.N.A training program at a community college or any other school.

Student Financial Aid.
Need money for college? Ambria College participates in TITLE IV. Fill out a
free financial aid application online.

Entrance Exam (TEAS).
All applicants must demonstrate their academic readiness by taking our entrance exam. The exam consists of English, Math, Science, and Reading. To enter into the program, you must achieve an average score of 50% or better.

Pre-requisite Courses.
Applicants are also required to take and earn at least a grade of "C" or better on the following general education courses:
- Introduction to Psychology
- English 101
